An academy standard, elite coaching service provided to players of all abilities enabling everyone access to the best possible football education. Founded by Academy Director Mark Muddyman (UEFA A Licensed Coach), Player Plus deliver bespoke training sessions designed specifically to meet the needs of players in line with their individual needs. Our goal is to ensure each child realises their full potential.
COACHING CURRICULUM
At Player Plus we aim to maximise individual player development. Our age-specific, coaching curriculum has been thoughtfully designed by UEFA A Licensed Coaches to help your son/daughter reach their full potential. In our relentless pursuit of excellence we cover a wide range of technical & tactical topics, however ALL sessions are designed around our key pillars.
TECHNICAL MASTERY
Most academies aim to produce players with proficient technique - we strive to develop players with extreme technique! We believe in encouraging risk-taking and fearless play on the ball in the pursuit of complete ball mastery.
1V1 DOMINATION
In order to be adequately prepared for tactical information (U14-U23), it is vital young players learn to master the art of 1v1 attacking and defending. As a result,1v1 dominance is a core component of our Coaching Curriculum.
FOOTBALL IQ
At Player Plus we want to produce intelligent technicians with an exceptional understanding of the game. Our coaches utilise opposed, directional practice as part of our tactical syllabus to ensure your child develops their Football IQ.
IMPACT THE GAME
When professional clubs assess players they analyse player effectiveness & consistency. Our sessions are tactfully designed to help you learn to stop, create and score goals to ensure maximal impact in game situations.
TEMPO & TRANSITION
The worlds best players are effective in possession, out of possession and in transition. To help young players meet the demands of the modern game we demand high intensity and tempo in all three phases of the game.
