PPFA TOTS (AGE 3-5) - WHERE FOOTBALL ADVENTURES BEGIN
A POSITIVE INTRODUCTION TO STRUCTURED FOOTBALL THROUGH PLAY
In 2023, we launched PPFA TOTS & we are now about to take it to new heights with the introduction of our Saturday morning provision, in the Sports Hall here at Four Dwellings Academy 📈
These 50-minute sessions are designed specifically for players age 3-5 to provide them with an age-appropriate, fun and memorable introduction to football. This is where your football adventures begin! ⚽
The purpose of these sessions are to provide our youngest children with the following 1️⃣0️⃣ things!
Gross Motor Skills - Including running, kicking, jumping, balance, agility & coordination.
Introduction to Sport - A positive first experience within football, introducing basic rules & the joy of playing.
Teamwork - Collaboration and cooperation through group activities and games.
Communication & Social Skills: Through interaction with coaches and peers during activities and games.
Achievement Recognition: Acknowledge and celebrate small achievements to boost confidence and self-esteem.
Positive Reinforcement: Provide positive reinforcement to create a supportive and encouraging atmosphere.
Parental Bonding: Encourage family participation to foster a positive parent-child bond during activities (age 2-4)
Age-Appropriate Games: Games and activities that are both age-appropriate and enjoyable for the children.
Creativity: Integrate elements that stimulate imagination, making the sessions fun and engaging.
Structured Learning: Implement a curriculum that gradually introduces new skills and challenges based on the children's developmental stages.
